Clicker Training for Puppies article

I found this to be a good article. I can’t stress enough the importance of the imprint stage and proper training for our labradoodles. They are very smart.

2 T. honey
Blend all together and freeze in 3 ounce paper cups or ice cube trays. Microwave just a few seconds
before serving.

4th of July is coming! Is your doodle ready?

Posted by Vicky on July 2, 2009 at 10:52 am

Just a reminder that with Fourth of July approaching first, hang your flag!
THEN have you thought about your dog and fireworks? Some do fine with the loud bangs and whistles… while some don’t. Libby, our retired resident grandmother now is not at all comfortable with the sounds at first. She settles in with [...]

Common new puppy owner questions… FYI

Posted by Vicky on August 23, 2008 at 9:10 pm

One of our future puppy owners just asked about our puppy program. We handle, stress, and socialize following the Monks of New Skete; don’t know if your familiar with them, but it is a wonderful philosophy of from birth raising a great puppy.  Thanks to Jim, another one of our previous puppy owners, for telling [...]
