Happy New Year!

We are so very blessed! Lots of wonderful emails, humerous ad touching messages, loving pictures of our doodles and their families. I get so excited to get the mail; with Christmas cards and notes from our puppies families that have left the nest! I love, love, love seeing them grow and hearing about them and their grand adventures and family contributions. If I had a tail, it would be wagging, let me tell you!

Been a busy couple of days with lots of excitement, doodle updates, and oh; oh; oh!! family news! family news! family news! Our dearest beloved Doodle Daughter (for those who don’t know, we have a daughter and son) became engaged! We are thrilled and I could barely keep the secret. Andrew, our future son in law, asked Jeff for her hand and kept us all up on how he was going to surprise her. I have been close to tears as I ponder her growing up and now waiting on pins and needles.. I regret to inform you that I drank lots of wine on New Years waiting for the phone to ring to hear the news for our daughter! “Mom, Dad, Andrew asked me to marry him, and I am engaged!” was the message 15 minutes after midnight. Happy New Year! And yes, I was tempted to add “a new stud has been added to the family” for the blog title but don’t know how far I can push the envelope just yet. I am on my best behavior for the moment. 🙂

Belle’s last litter, “the river litter” turns two weeks tonight and we will be posting their photos as well shortly. Eyes are opening and this is always if you read back one of my favorite weeks as they do so much this week; eyes open and start to focus, they hear for the first time and then we have doodles wobble but don’t fall down” a they test out their legs. McKenzie and Tilly were the first to open their eyes (my smart doodles!).

Anyways, back to taking pictures and updates and sharing the doodle news. I am working on several slogans, “just doodle”, “wanna doodle”, and “doodle, and doodle with Liberty” have been some of my favorites. Only people with one of our doodles get that owning them is more than just a pet, it is an experience and a mind set. How we do love our dogs!

May your lap always be full, a little skip always in your step, kisses always be wet, your bowl always full, you toy selection vast, your rewarded for how good you truly are, a smile always in your eyes and a wag always in your tail!

Jeff and I wish you all a year full of happy doodling!
