Ziggy (Sydney) leaves the nest

Sydney has been renamed “Ziggy” and is a Christmas present for two children in Washington. He was picked up today and will surprise the family this afternoon. This should be a memorable family Christmas present. The parents arranged for childcare and left in the wee hours of the morning to drive through rains and wind (I am tempted to say they then walked 500 miles uphill in the snow.. barefoot; but of course they did not.). Then after some visit time with us Ziggy was off to his new life and family. I can hardly wait to hear once he “lands” at his new home.
In visiting with the family, they don’t live to far away from Bindi so that will be fun to get updates from them both and hopefully they will visit or we can later in the year.
