Hello 7 Weeks!

The once upon a time litter is nearing the time to leave the nest. Next week they will be working on crate training and we will go pretty quiet as they begin to have their spay/neuters (we do two at a time, spaced apart) and get their first shots, microchips and health check up. They are enjoying what we call the puppy penthouse and more yard time. This week they also go to almost completely dry puppy kibble. They love taste of the wild puppy food and tell us to hurry up when we bring their food to them. They are eating twice a day morning and night now. They all have great eye contact and love to watch the dryer spin. Like their mother and grandmother their favorite toy right now appears to be the baby hedgehog and whoever possesses it starts a group chase. 🙂 I will try to get a video snippet of it. Fun to watch!
